Dr. Liza Varghese completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Louisville, where she also completed her sub-specialty training in Rheumatology. She became the fourth member to join the practice in 2001. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, scoring in the top quartile in the country.

I want to thank Dr. Varghese for all she has done for me. You and your super staff saved me from a terrible predicament. I became ill with strep over Christmas. After 2 visits to an urgent care, a call and then visit to my primary care physician who had no idea what action to take to fix my terrible debilitating rash and painful edema I finally got help from my Oncologist who referred me to you for care since we could not start my Chemo until we took care of what he diagnosed as Vasculitis. You saw me in your office the next day and put me on a path to recovery. You saved my sanity. Your office was so caring and thoughtful and made me know I was going to get better. Your staff returned my calls promptly and followed up to make sure nothing got overlooked.
